Scars were visible on his skin,proving him to be experienced in battles. The man like his clothing sober, clothed in elegant black, trimmed with red fur. Despite the perfect cut he preferred other clothing. Furs and heavy mail over silk and velvet.Over his shoulder he held a massive giant axe,an axe I knew he wielded as easily as if it were a mere toy. On his left arm he wore a silver braclet,it was shaped like a dragon eating it's own tail, the fine detail of the bracelt was breathtaking.But perhaps the most impressive part of him was his voice, it was deep rumbling sound,strong, clear and true. He would make a great singer, if only he did stop using those dreadful poems of his...."

Orm finds his father, Brand,actually finds him quite insane. Brand beats his own son up and puts him in a dungeon. Orm escape and helps in the Battle at the Abyss. With Eric's son being declared the new King of Amber, Orm also sees his mentor, his Uncle Bleys, being driven away....
